ADSENSE TIPS - Content is King

Content is king, we're told... time and time again.

And they're right. Content is king. If you don't have good content,
you won't make a dime with an AdSense site.

But you can have the best content in the world and still not make a
dime... if you don't have traffic.

Content might be the king of the Internet but being a king doesn't
mean much if you don't have a population -- and that means bringing
in users.

For publishers of an AdSense site though, they can't be any old
users. Obviously, there's not much point in bringing in users who
aren't likely to click on ads -- so they'll need to be users who
are interested in the topic of your website.

But you'll also want to bring in users who are actually likely to
buy.

That isn't the same thing at all.

If you have a site about photography, for example, you might show
ads for cameras and have plenty users drawn from various
photography schools. But students tend to have small budgets so if
those students only look, click and don't buy, they won't be worth
much to your advertisers... or to you.

Google will charge advertisers less for them and pay you less too.

When you're identifying sources for your traffic then, pay
attention to whether they would be interested in your site but also
whether they're going to be interested in buying from your
advertisers.

Live life today!
